I recently stayed at The Shire House for work with two colleagues and we had a fantastic experience. The decor and spaciousness of the villa were lovely, and everything was impeccably clean. We were impressed by the wide range of crockery, cutlery, and glasses available, making our stay very convenient. The addition of fresh milk in the fridge was a thoughtful touch. The personalized note and clear instructions made everything easy to navigate, and the cozy fireplace added to the overall ambiance. We also appreciated the convenient parking right outside. our stay was comfortable and relaxing, and we are already planning our next personal trip back!
Can just recommend this hotel.

The Shire House is an absolute game-changer! The decorations are mind-blowing and the vibe is super cozy. Christopher, the host, goes above and beyond with his communication and thoughtful gestures like a bowl of chocolates upon arrival. The range of amenities, from the free Wi-Fi to the fully equipped kitchen with an electric kettle and cookware, is jaw-dropping. The flat-screen TV and outdoor dining area add an extra touch of luxury to the experience. The VIP check-in/out process made us feel like true VIPs, and the location offered so many exciting activities like hiking, cycling, fishing, and even horseback riding. Plus, being pet-friendly is a huge bonus! We can't wait to plan our next stay here. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Engaged in fishing, cycling, and tennis. Hiked and windsurfed nearby. Saw river views, had free WiFi. Airport nearby. Towels were included. Cons: Oh, and let's not forget about that one thing I absolutely hated. everything was just too perfect! *rolls eyes*

The Shire House had two bathrooms, one with a bath and the other with a shower. I absolutely loved the cozy feel of the bath, perfect for some relaxation after a long day exploring. The shower was also great, with good water pressure. As a guest who enjoys a bit of luxury, these bathrooms were perfect for me.
I wasn't a huge fan of having two bathrooms with showers instead of at least one with a bath. But hey, that's just my personal preference.
